If you have Word 97, then your problem is most likely
the CSAPI3T1.DLL file that is missing. You can fix this by the following steps.
1) Place your XP CD in your drive
2) Type the following command at the Start | Run prompt replacing "X" with your
proper CD Drive letter and "C" if you have a different drive letter for your XP
Drive. (Note the space after "_")
EXPAND X:\I386\CSAPI3T1.DL_ C:\CSAPI3T1.DLL
3) Using Explorer, move the CSAPI3T1.DLL to your Program Files\Outlook Express
folder
4) Remove the XP CD and reboot
You should now have spell checking functionality.
